Today people are living in a throwaway society where they use things for a short time only and then throw them away. What are the causes of this and what problems can it lead to?
Flipping onto new things is increasing unprecedentedly. Considering it as a common but serious problematic trend which is occurring due to myriad reasons. Its obvious effects are harming us adversely and will be discussed briefly.
Why so materialistic? people busy in hectic schedules prefer to buy new things rather than repairing their old one for which they can not wait. It occurs due to superstitious people have a myth that keeping broken things will lead to a miserable life and affect their wealth. Advertising brands and the role models who promote those products insist people buy them even if they already have similar belongings such as clothes and cosmetics especially.
Causes never over without harming nature, as the non-renewable products are effecting our environment adversely and their degradation boosts global warming. For instance, in a recent survey, the two-third proportion of garbage is plastic-based material which is non-biodegradable and sometimes eaten by animals result in death. Financing to buy expensive things just to maintain status may risk the buyer and his family's life while the shortage of instalments. Rather than saving, people are just wasting their money they earned by their hardships and may face problems while medical urgency.
Precisely, things are made for our better lifestyle and we are supposed to use them for positive outcomes which are not at all. A proper line should be drawn to their uses to improve our shopping behaviour. Buying material for our own benefit is acceptable, but, saving nature must be our priority.
