Further, the number of overseas scholars increased moderately and counted at 30,000 in 2008. In the next two years, figures went up by one-third which remained almost the same in 2010.

Native Australian pupils in Institutes were 20,000 and their numbers kept on increasing since 2001. In the second year, registrations for degrees slowed down. After that, with a swift increment, the number of students noticed over 70,000 in 2009. Finally, masses of students touched the peak over 80,000.

Overall, in all ten years, it can be seen that the sum of both students from abroad and local students increased parallelly with lower and higher figures respectively.
